乐播传媒视频鈥檚 Campus Gate Art Gallery Presents Senior Thesis Exhibition
YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. 鈥� 乐播传媒视频 will present the annual Senior Thesis Exhibition, a culmination of artwork by graduating senior Taylor Posey, of Milton, Ga. The show will be on display Tuesday, Nov. 28, through Thursday, Dec. 7. A special reception with the artist will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 6 p.m. in the Campus Gate Art Gallery. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
Posey鈥檚 exhibition will incorporate a variety of mediums including paintings, mixed media, photography, and film. Her diverse body of work will represent her growth as a student artist at 乐播传媒视频.
鈥淭he Art Department has done wonders for me,鈥� said Posey. 鈥淚’ve grown so much as an individual and as an artist. The professors have really encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone and not to be afraid of experimenting.鈥�
Posey, who credits the 乐播传媒视频 Fine Arts faculty for much of her growth and success, is excited to showcase how her creativity has grown during her time as a student.
鈥淎s a sophomore I would stick to a certain size of canvas,鈥� explained Posey. 鈥淣ow I’m painting on canvases 5-feet tall and 8-feet long while adding different elements to that canvas such as yarn! That’s the most exciting part of being an art major here鈥攖here’s really no restrictions to artistic creativity.鈥�
After graduation, Posey plans to take a gap year before entering graduate school. 鈥淚’ve found myself as an artist, I’ve made friends that will always be near and dear to my heart, I’ve learned so much about what to expect in the future, and I’m proud to say I will be a 乐播传媒视频 graduate.鈥�
