On Friday, April 26, 乐播传媒视频 hosted The Big Dance to raise scholarship funds for more than 200 students from eight surrounding counties: Fannin, Gilmer, Pickens, Rabun, Towns and Union counties in Georgia, and Cherokee and Clay counties in North Carolina. Nine students from 乐播传媒视频 recently developed the Southern Appalachian Snorkeling Trail and wrote a guidebook for the trail as a result of their research on preserving the region鈥檚 water quality by promoting native fish diversity and ecotourism. Over the past few months, the students have presented their work in Washington, D.C., Cordele, Georgia and Asheville, North Carolina.

This spring, Hamilton Gardens at Lake Chatuge is partnering with 乐播传媒视频 to offer a communications internship to 乐播传媒视频 senior Savannah Rogers of Cleveland, Georgia. The results are mutually beneficial: Hamilton Gardens is receiving innovative ideas for implementing educational programming, and Rogers is gaining invaluable hands-on experience.
